Well, it has begun

November 7th, 2025. I packed up two big suitcases that I’ve had since I was 15 (a checked size bag and a carry on), one box, two of my favorite pillows and all of my hopes and dreams. I left straight from my previous job , drove 5 or so hours about halfway. I woke up the next morning and finished the drive. 13 hours from my home state.

Hi, I’m K. I’ve been a registered nurse for over 14 years now. I have a decently vast experience across women’s health and Ped’s nursing. I’m starting a job in the mid-Atlantic region, on a mother baby floor. This is my first travel nurse assignment and I’m excited to see where these adventures take me.

I leaving my family at home for a bit, and this may be the hardest thing I’ve ever done. We packed me off for the next several months in the interest of getting ahead on bills. The government shutdown exposed a few bad spots in our debt, and here we are on the other side.
