small shift. Get it, shift? Change? And also like.. working one..

Learned this weekend that I would have to head out of my current accommodation and find another for the next several months. I asked around and ended up in a little furnished apartment from furnished finder.

Loaded the scrubs and a few comfy clothes and headed out on Sunday. Got settled in to a cute new basement apartment.. feels like I’m living in a dorm again. 🙂 It’s just been a while since I have been there.

I miss my family immensely. No one tells you at the start of this how lonely it is. I’m going to be alone over the holidays as well. So if you’ve got some recommendations for a good hallmark set to watch, I’m ready for it.

I went and saw the movie Eternity to kill some time this afternoon. It was $11, I snuck in a protein shake, and got to sip on and enjoy it while I watched. Movie was good, wear waterproof mascara. Also highly recommend buying movie tickets online to avoid the whole “yes, movie for one pls.”

Last week on dayshift this week, I flip to nights on Sunday.
